The department's mission is to supply safe, uninterrupted water and wastewater services to Town of Medley residents and businesses. The Town purchases water from the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Authority (MDWASA) and maintains the distribution system of water meters and . Sewage is delivered back to the MDWASA where it is processed and treated.

The Town of Medley provides water and sewer service to over 1,000 customers in the Medley area.
